How to play Roulette

A guide to bets, payouts, and game controls in Live Roulette.

Roulette is played by spinning a small ball on a round wheel with 37 numbered slots. When the wheel stops, the ball lands in one of these slots.

When the wheel stops, the ball comes to rest in one of these slots. The objective is to correctly predict the slot in which the ball will land. The size of the payout depends on the type of bet placed.

Return to player: The optimal theoretical RTP is 97.30%.

Placing a bet

  1. Select the chip value you want to use from the Chip Display.

  2. Click on the appropriate betting area of the Roulette table.

  3. Your combined stake for the round will be shown in the Total Bet display.

You can place more than one bet during a round.

Bets can be placed while the game-status indicator is green or yellow. They are automatically submitted when the red light appears and betting closes.

Once betting has closed, bets cannot be placed, changed or cancelled.

Repeating and removing bets

  • Select Undo during green or yellow betting time to remove your most recently placed bet.

  • Select it repeatedly to remove bets one at a time in the order in which they were placed.

  • Select Repeat to repeat the bets placed during the previous round.

  • After selecting Repeat, the button changes to Double, allowing you to double the repeated bet if you have sufficient funds.

Betting limits

If your combined stake is lower than the minimum table limit, a pop-up message will appear when betting closes and the bet will be rejected.

If a bet exceeds the maximum permitted limit, a tooltip will remind you of the maximum and the bet will not be placed.

The Bet Limits display shows the table’s minimum and maximum stakes. Select it to see a complete breakdown of the limits, where available.

Bet types

The short lines containing three numbers are called rows. The longer lines containing 12 numbers are called columns.

Inside bets are placed directly on numbered spaces or on the lines between them. Outside bets are placed in the special boxes surrounding the numbered area.

When you move the pointer over the betting table, the numbers covered by that betting position are highlighted.

They can be accessed using the Special Bets icon and selected from the relevant text ladder or wheel map.

The traffic-light display shows the current game status:

  • Green: Betting is open.

  • Yellow: Betting is about to close.

  • Red: Betting is closed and bets can no longer be placed or cancelled.

The same status indicator is used across Live games.

Auto-Roulette

Auto-Roulette combines an interactive Roulette table with a live video stream of a fully automated wheel filmed from above.

The wheel is powered by compressed air. Approximately once every minute, a new round begins and the ball is launched using a variably powered jet of air.

The ball has an equal chance of landing on any of the wheel’s 37 numbers. The numbers run from 0 to 36 in a non-sequential order. Numbers from 1 to 36 are red or black, while zero is green.

When the ball stops, laser-positioning sensors determine the winning number.

Game malfunctions and errors

If a system error occurs, players will be notified through Chat or an on-screen message while the issue is investigated.

The game is paused and the dealer notifies a Shift Manager or Pit Boss.

  • If the error can be corrected, the game continues and concludes normally.

  • If the error cannot be corrected, the game is cancelled and the initial bets are refunded to all participating players.
