A Single Bet is a stake placed on a single selection outcome and only produces a return if it wins.

If your bet wins at odds of 7/2 with a €10 stake, multiply your stake by the numerator (7), then divide by the denominator (2), and add your stake back.

Example: €10 × 7 = €70 ÷ 2 = €35 + €10 stake = €45 total return

A Double is a single bet across two selections. Both selections must win to generate a return. If the first selection wins, the returns are rolled over as the stake for the second selection. Both selections must be from separate events.

Example with a €10 stake:

A Treble is a single bet across three selections. All three must win to generate a return. If the first selection wins, the returns roll on as the stake for the second, and so on.

Example with a €10 stake:

An Accumulator consists of four or more selections from different events. All selections must win to generate a return. It is often named after the number of selections, for example Four-Fold, Five-Fold, Six-Fold.

Example with a €10 stake across a Four-Fold:

A Trixie is a bet on 3 selections consisting of 3 Doubles and 1 Treble, totalling 4 bets. A minimum of 2 winners is needed to generate a return.

A Patent is a bet on 3 selections consisting of 3 Singles, 3 Doubles and 1 Treble, totalling 7 bets. A single winning selection ensures a return.

A Single Stakes About consists of 2 selections from different events, producing 2 bets. Any return on each Single up to the original stake is used to fund a further Single on the other selection. Also known as an Up and Down or Cross Bet.

Example with a €10 stake:

A Straight Forecast involves correctly predicting the first and second in the correct order in a specified race. Prices cannot be taken on a forecast. A dividend is declared after the race.

Multiply the straight forecast dividend by the stake to calculate the return.

A Reverse Forecast consists of 2 bets. The two selections can finish 1st and 2nd in either order. It is effectively two straight forecasts with opposing predicted results, meaning the stake is double compared to a Straight Forecast.

A Double Reverse Forecast uses 2 Reverse Forecasts where the return of race 1 is used as the stake for race 2. A Treble Reverse Forecast uses the return of race 2 as the stake for race 3.

A Union Jack Treble is a bet on 9 selections consisting of 8 Trebles, totalling 8 bets. The selections are arranged in a 3x3 grid and bets are formed by combining the selections on each horizontal, vertical and diagonal line.
