Bet Settlement and Restrictions

How your bets are settled and what to do if your account is restricted.

How are bets settled?

All Sportsbook bets are settled using decimal odds format. This applies regardless of which odds format you have selected in your account settings.

To update your odds display preference, see Odds Display Settings.

What are related bets?

A related bet is a multiple bet where one leg directly influences the outcome of another. Because the odds on each leg cannot be multiplied independently, related bets are not accepted.

BetVictor systems are designed to prevent related bets from being placed. However, if a technical issue allows a related bet to go through, the bet will be made void and you will be contacted as soon as possible.

Example of a related bet taken in error

Selection

Odds

Leg 1

England to Win the Triple Crown

5/2

Leg 2

England to Win the Grand Slam

5/1

Bet type: £10 Double — Rugby Union 6 Nations

In this example, winning the Grand Slam requires winning the Triple Crown, meaning one leg directly influences the other. This bet would be made void if accepted in error.

Can BetVictor restrict my account?

Yes. BetVictor reserves the right to restrict stakes or remove Sportsbook betting from an account entirely.

This decision is only taken after due consideration and will not be reversed.
